facilities will be closed to all outside users until and
including April 5th. The session will be monitoring the
situation and provide regular updates. Although we cannot

Lenten season begins
Lent, a 40
day period (excluding Sundays), is a time of preparation for
the celebration of Easter, but before we get to Easter, we
prepare ourselves by looking inward and taking stock of our
lives. We reflect on the ways we may have been conformed to
the ways of the world that lead to the hardening of the
heart. To break this cycle, we repent (literally to change
direction) and choose to live intentionally in ways that
bring about new life in us and in those around us.
Journeying Through Lent Together
Lent 2020, Presbyterians across the country are invited to
join a denomination-wide book study on N.T. Wright’s Lent
for Everyone, Matthew, Year A. This
study has continued online and by phone. Please email Rev
Paul if you would like to join the discussion
how to meditate online during Lent
20-minute meditation is based on a spiritual practice called
Centering Prayer, a silent prayer that places an emphasis on
quieting the mind and being still in the presence of a God
who desires to commune with us. Why not join us
online? If you email Rev Paul by Tuesday evening, he will
send you login information.
