COMING EVENTS:

A BIG thank you to everyone who helped make last Saturday's Merry Market a success. Over $5000 from the Merry Market will go towards Presbyterians Sharing. The feedback has been very positive, and many of the vendors commented on the warm and friendly atmosphere of Leaside Presbyterian Church.  Way to go LPC!

Please join us for a presentation on Sunday November 17th at noon in the Glebe Parlour. Our very own Stephanie will share about her experiences working with children of refugee families in Budapest, Hungary the past year

PCC Women’s Gathering Mark your calendars! May 15-18, 2020. The National Presbyterian Women’s Gathering: Through the Waters. Reduced rate if registered before Nov 30, 2019. See the blue poster on the bulletin board. Womensgathering.ca for more info.

In Advent 2019, Presbyterians across the country are invited to join a denomination-wide book study on Walter Bruggemann’s Celebrating Abundance. Using thoughtfully prepared small group and individual weekly study guides, Presbyterians will journey through Advent reflecting on themes of God’s abundance as revealed through the small details of faith stories—a cry in the wilderness, a teenage mother, a worn down stable and a promise of a new day. As a church, we plan to offer small group weekly studies in December. The book will be available in mid-November and can be purchased for $15.

The 132nd Scouts annual Christmas Tree Sale is scheduled for Friday Dec. 6, Saturday Dec.7, and Sunday Dec. 8.
