Nursery and Church School

Children of all ages are welcome at Leaside PC! While we do not always have a staffed nursery or Sunday school each week, we have fun and engaging things for babies up to young adults. There are resources including baby toys, colouring books, activity pages and books located at the back of the sanctuary for children to enjoy during the service. Parents are also welcome to take their children to the room located just outside of the front sanctuary doors for some quiet playtime. We are in the works of creating a space at the back of the sanctuary for kids to move about during the service while their parents sit for the service. If you would like to attend with your children, please send a message to the church office so that we can arrange for someone to greet you and show you the resources. If we have notice of attendance we will do our best to provide nursery and/or Sunday school lesson during the worship service.

New children are always welcome to come and join in on the fun and fellowship!

Mission Project

The children and congregation at Leaside Presbyterian Church are sponsoring an ongoing stewardship project. They are collecting money for support of Tarikwa Siyum Tilahun, their adopted friend from Ethiopia, through Children Believe (formerly the Christian Children’s Fund of Canada).
